BECOME A MEMBER

PTSA membership supports our kids. The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Student Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. PTSA advocates for funding and issues that affect various aspects of education and student well being. PTSA provides support for administrators and teachers. They strive to create an inclusive, positive and caring atmosphere in our school. PTSA partners with a variety of programs that enhance our school.

Signing up does NOT require you to attend meetings or volunteer, but we'd like to encourage you to consider it.  Membership is $10, and you can sign up easily online using the link below.  Your Oakbrook student can also sign up to be a member for FREE!

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering can be very rewarding.  Research shows that children perform better when parents are engaged in education both at HOME and at SCHOOL. Parental involvement boosts student achievement. It helps you stay connected with the school and allows you to gain a broader perspective of how you can play a supportive role. You also can make connections with other parents, business partners and agencies that share a common goal of student achievements. It allows you to contribute your skills and knowledge for the benefit of not only your child but for your school community. PTSA can help you gain expertise as a leadership volunteer, build your resume, and make friends for life.
